Alabama Soccer Association

ASA Maintains Insurance for its Adult Membership through K & K/USASA

ASA provides insurance coverage for league and tournament directors to include as part of their annual player registration fees. These comprehensive plans protect players, teams, leagues, and ASA in the event of claims arising out of soccer activities organized by ASA member organizations.

The accident policy covers medical/dental expenses during sanctioned amateur soccer activities. The general liability policy protects members and ASA in the event they are sued for incidents involving bodily injury or property damage resulting from an amateur soccer activity.

How to file a claim:

  1. Fill out and mail/fax/email the Special Risk Accident Claim Form to the state office within 30 days of the injury along with the referee report if possible.
  2. The state office will verify that you are a registered player participating in a sanctioned event. Players electing to participate in non-sanctioned events are not covered by this policy.
  3. The state office will send the insurance forms to the national office for approval. If approved, the national office will forward the claim to the insurance provider.
