Mission:
The Youth Development Program (YDP) strives to provide high quality training for players ages 9-12 in an environment tailor made to meet your child's development needs - an enjoyable and challenging experience.
Why YDP?
Paticipate in training sessions lead by licensed Alabama Soccer Association coaches with players from around the state. Develop your soccer IQ in sessions that are designed to improve decision making both on and off the ball.
Program Logistics
YDP sessions are offered year round in a variety of areas:
- North
- Central
- South Central
- South
Sessions last between 1.5 - 2 hours and work on a variety of topics (defending, attacking and transition). Players can look forward to improving shot scoring, 1v1 attacking, 1v1 defending and all else in between. YDP also offers a variety of camps throughout the year
Groups: Players will be divided into developmentally appropriate groups if numbers permit. These groups may change throughout each session.
Cost:
Training session $20 - this covers field rental, equipment and staffing
YDP Training Tshirt - $15
Camp/s cost will vary based on location and length of camp.
Registration:
The 19/20 season is open to players born in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011

What do I need to bring?:
Players will recieve their training shirt (if purchased) at their first training event. The training shirt should be worn at all training sessions. Players should bring their own soccer ball (pumped up), shin guards, and something to drink. Most importantly, bring a great attitude and be ready to learn!
Make-Up Policy:
If an event is cancelled due to weather, your registration fees for that event will be applied to the next scheduled event in your area, or it may be refunded.
Refund Policy:
If you are unable to make the session you registered for, we will transfer that registration to the next requested event.
